HIRE CARS

Here at La Maroma, we work alongside Dannycars, a very reasonably priced local carhire company which can arrange pickup and delivery of a wide range of new cars, in a variety of locations, including Málaga airport and the La Maroma office in Puente Don Manuel.  If you require a hire car, please contact us and  we will check the price and availability of your chosen model of car and make the reservation on your behalf.

ACCOMODATION

Hotel Viñuela
This lovely hotel is in a wonderful location on the shores of the famous Lake Viñuela, and makes an ideal base from which to explore the Axarquía. Built in 2000, each room is named after a local village, and is decorated in a traditional style.  The hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool, tennis courts and terrace area, as well as a lovely dining room serving Andalucian specialities.

SERVICES

Architects……If required, (for example in the case of a client who has purchased a house and needs plans to be drawn up for a swimming pool, or a client who has bought a plot of land and needs plans for a house), we are able to put you in contact with fully qualified reasonably priced local architects.  In this particular area, most architects do not speak fluent English, so if necessary we are able to act as middlemen, translating for yourselves.

Lawyers………. If you are intending to buy a property in Spain, it is crucial that you find a good English-speaking Spanish lawyer who is trustworthy, efficient and really works on your behalf. As property ownership laws in Spain vary from those in the UK, it is important that whichever lawyer you appoint fully understands the system. If you already know of a Spanish lawyer or have been recommended one by a friend, you should be feeling a lot more relaxed at this stage! If you do not already have a lawyer here in Spain, it can be a daunting task to find one with whom you feel comfortable. 

If required, we are able to give you details of a selection of fluent English and Spanish speaking lawyers in the local area, with whom we and our clients have previously worked. Although some estate agencies may “recommend” a lawyer, here at La Maroma,  we prefer to give you a choice of alternatives so that you can make an informed decision.

Interpretation Services ........ At La Maroma we are able to offer an interpretation service, where we can assist our non-Spanish speaking clients in anything from the translation of non-legal documents to or from Spanish/English, to making and receiving telephone calls in Spanish. Please contact us if you would like more information on the wide range of translation services we can provide.
